How Learning Communities use Learning
Stephen Downes (kijk naar zijn e-learningbevlogenheid op Stephen's Web) heeft een artikel geschreven over e-learning in de toekomst, waarin hij voor simulaties een grote rol ziet weggelegd. De academische wereld geeft hij een veeg uit de pan ten faveure van de spelindustrie:
"Online multiplayer gaming has long had the lead in this; the best the academic community has been able to manage is the discussion board or, in some cases, collaborative authoring."
